Presentation Information

Concurrent Single-Paper Sessions

  • Single papers have been grouped into sessions three, with each group allotted a 90-minute session.
  • Each paper will have 30 minutes for its presentation, questions/answers, and discussion, which may be saved for the end. Please be respectful of others’ time by staying within your 30 minutes.
  • Each concurrent single-paper session will have a Session Chair designated with an asterisk in the program. This Chair is typically the lead presenter of the last paper that session. The Session Chair will introduce presenters by name, affiliation, and title of presentation at the beginning of the session, keep time, and facilitate the discussion at the end of the session.
  • Each session room will be equipped with an LCD projector and screen.
  • No computers will be provided by the conference, please plan to bring your own.
  • Presenters should bring any computer files with them on a USB drive so that they can be transferred to a single computer prior to the start of the session.
  • Internet access is available in all of the session rooms; however, you should check your access well before your presentation time, including any firewalls that may prevent your access to files.
  • Each session room will be equipped with a house phone. For any problems please dial 0 and let the operator know what you need and they will reach the proper department.

Panel Presentations and Workshops

  • Panel presentations and conference workshops are each allotted a 90-minute session, allowing at least 20 minutes for discussion.
  • The lead presenter of each panel presentation or workshop will designate the Session Chair, if there is one. Session Chairs will make any introductions, keep time, and facilitate the discussion at the end of the session.
  • Each session room will be equipped with an LCD projector and screen.
  • No computers will be provided by the conference, please plan to bring your own.

Roundtables

  • Roundtables are each allotted one 90-minute session.
  • Presentations may include 10-15 minutes of presentation, followed by discussion and feedback.
  • Roundtable discussions will be led by the organizer or someone else he or she designates.
No roundtables will have access to an LCD projector, screen, or computer. Feel free to bring handouts or a laptop.
